University of Windsor- International Scholarships

The University of Windsor (established in 1857), a southernmost public university based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada is known for acknowledging international students for participation in their programs and allocates a good number of scholarships to the students as a support bursary so as to provide assistance to them during their period of study.

Global Conflict Relief Bursary is a jointly funded scholarship scheme worth 10,000 $ operated by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and the University of Windsor. The bursary is designed for students (domestic or international) whose course of education has been in any way hindered by a global conflict and exhibits need for financial aids. Students who have displayed a good citizenship through involvement in their community or campus including those possessing good academic standings are the ones encouraged to apply for the same. A concrete personal story backed up by references will also be required as a part of application assessment.

The University of Windsor’s Student Support Bursary for International Students is another scholarship scheme that provides funding of up to $1000 per academic year to assist in-course students during an uncertain temporary period of unanticipated financial difficulty.

University of Windsor Open Entrance Scholarship is automatically reserved for international students applying for a program relevant to their field of study.

UWindsor Skills Competition Scholarship, on the other hand, is designed to support students excelling academically and can go above and beyond by competing in varied skills competition or challenges.
