A bit of information on applying as a legally wed partner of a Student VISA Applicant in New Zealand
Given the condition that the student VISA applicant has received his/ her VISA and can render support to his/ her partner, then an individual can apply for a partner VISA. The partner can only accompany the student VISA applicant if the course to be enrolled is at a level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above qualification and is preferably registered in the Green Listed course, in the Post Study Work VISA list or Long Term Skill Shortage List (LTSSL).

The application for a partner VISA needs to be properly backed up by evidences; majorly the proof of genuity of a long term stable exclusive relationship with the student VISA applicant. Likewise, meeting the character requirements, adequate funds to sustain the living in New Zealand and genuine intentions to visit New Zealand are other major aspects of the application which simply cannot be overlooked. The VISA majorly allows the partner to explore New Zealand as a visitor and stay equivalent to the time frames of the individual holding the student VISA.
