Australian catholic University (ACU) Vice Chancellor’s PhD Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious, merit-based scholarship that offers a limited number of outstanding international PhD applicants a 100% tuition waiver* for their full course. The scholarship also covers an indexed annual stipend of around AUD $ 32,315 to support living expenses of the candidate often paid as a fortnight stipend for up to 3.5 years, also including additional allowances to cover health insurance and relocation. The relocation allowance is valued up to AUD $2,000 and is designed to support costs of the candidate’s relocation to Australia all reserved for the purposes of commencing a Research Doctorate degree at ACU. The scholarship is for commencing international PhD candidates- either Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Ministry- who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in prior studies. Eligible candidates must propose a research project that aligns with the University’s strategic research priorities and/or its established or emerging areas of research strength. Faculties that cover the scholarship includes Education and Arts, Law and Business, Health Science, Theology and Philosophy.
ACU Ballarat International Nursing Scholarship is reserved to international students studying Nursing at the ACU Ballarat campus providing them with 15% tuition fee support for their study. If eligible, applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship and and will be selected by Global and Education Pathways, ACU. Eligibility for this scholarship, however, requires recipients to pay tuition fees by relevant due date; remain enrolled in the same course and campus under which the scholarship was received as well as per the rules and regulations set, must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.
ACU Health Sciences Towards Brisbane 2032 Scholarship is known to provide commencing international students studying at ACU’s Brisbane campus with 15% off annual tuition fees to support those enrolling in courses aligned with the sport and health workforce needs of the Brisbane 2032 Games. If eligible, applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship and will be selected by Global and Education Pathways, ACU. Eligibility for this scholarship, however, requires recipients to pay tuition fees by relevant due date; remain enrolled in the same course and campus under which the scholarship was received as well as per the rules and regulations set, must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.
ACU International Launch Scholarship guarantees a 25% tuition fee reduction (conditions involved as per the rules and regulations of the university) for eligible international students commencing selected new programs, such as Computer and Data Science and the new Bachelor of Business and its associated double degrees in the year 2026. If eligible, applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship and and will be selected by Global and Education Pathways, ACU. Eligibility for this scholarship, however, requires recipients to pay tuition fees by relevant due date; remain enrolled in the same course and campus under which the scholarship was received as well as per the rules and regulations set, must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.

- Scholarship recipients will remain eligible up to the minimum CRICOS registered duration of their course.
- The Scholarship remains valid for students on an approved Leave of Absence for up to 12 months.
ACU Executive Dean’s International Scholarship is a premier merit-based scholarship for commencing undergraduate and postgraduate international students which offers 20%, 15% and 10% off annual tuition (on a case by case basis and assessment) for academically excellent students enrolling in the faculty of arts, education, business, law and health science. Selection is based on academic merit and if the applicants are eligible, they will be automatically considered for this scholarship which will remain eligible up to the minimum CRICOS registered duration of their course. Eligibility for this scholarship, however, requires recipients to pay tuition fees by relevant due date; remain enrolled in the same course under which the scholarship was received, as well must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.
ACU International Student Accommodation Scholarship is known to support international students with the cost of living in ACU Student Accommodation by providing them with a 20% remission of rental fees in ACU Student Accommodation properties for a 12-month period. Selections are done by the Scholarships Office and are based on assessment and strength of the written statement which should properly outline how the scholarship will benefit the recipient, barriers the recipient had to overcome in pursuit of gaining an education, and goals the recipient hope to achieve through completion of the degree. To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain their enrollment at ACU as well acquire minimum Pass grade for at least two-thirds of credit points.
