QUT Real World International Scholarship is one of the popular scholarship reserved for future international students that has been launched to cover 20% of tuition fees for the first two semesters (one year) of degree (or higher) study provided one meets the minimum mandated academic standards.
Alahakoon Amini-Moghadam Learning Potential Fund Scholarship is another scholarship reserved for low income household students experiencing financial hardships and are valued up to $5,000 for a year i.e. $2,500 each semester.
Further, QUT College Merit Scholarship is set to cover 25% of the first semester tuition fee for any foundation or a diploma program a student has undertaken for his/ her study. In addition, QUT College English Language Concession offers a reduction of 25% from the tuition fee of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and IELTS Advanced programs at QUT College.
There is also the provision of QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) scholarships worth up to $30,000 and will be paid as a study stipend as per the regulations of the university. The recipient of this scholarship will also receive an automatic membership into QUT’s College of Excellence including benefitting from an early access to research opportunities.
QUT Excellence Scholarship (Creative Arts), on the other hand, is reserved for future undergraduate students undertaking study area in the field of Creative Arts and is valued up to 20,000$ each and will be paid as a study stipend as per the regulations of the university. An international student who has completed year 12 in Australia will also be eligible to apply for the same.
Financial aids can also be rendered in the form of Australia Awards where one can expect to receive financial and academic support covering the full tuition fees for ones course, air travel allowances, OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover), an establishment allowances including a good contribution to living expenses helping to cover mainly accommodation, food and transport. The award can also incorporate pre- course English fees, fieldwork expenses wherever compulsory for Masters and research courses or Introductory Academic Program.
