Some of the scholarships open for application includes;
Queen’s College Scholarships, a generous fee- remission scholarship, open to both international and domestic students, is awarded on the basis of academic performance, students contribution to the college and its community including the need for financial aids, amounting the sum up to 38,000 AUD.
Edwin Nonus Smith Scholarship is another scholarship where a student can benefit up to the amount of 10,000 AUD and is offered to students who are in financial need specifically to assist with the cost of living and study. The student however is required to be a full time student at the university and provide a note of appreciation / a brief report as to how the student can benefit from the scholarship.
Australia Awards Scholarship provided by DFAT (Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) where international students from developing countries can benefit from sponsorship covering full tuition fees, travel tickets, overseas student health cover (OSHC), living stipends, and supplementary academic support enrolled in a degree program.
International House Scholarships, inspired by the International Houses, is a community driven to bring Australian (more emphasis on regional Victorian students) and international students together ultimately to create a livable environment and render best accommodation to international students from around the world. The scholarship offers amount up to 22,500 AUD to new and returning undergraduate students residing at International House.
Likewise, Ormond College Scholarships can help a student benefit from the amount of 5,000 AUD ranging up to 36,000 AUD offering financial assistance to support students facing economic barriers which has impacted their ability to reside at the College. The scholarship is made possible only through the generosity of alumni and the Ormond community.
University College Scholarships, on the other hand, is a residential college award and are reserved for eligible students (domestic/ international) who are primarily in need of financial needs ranging from 5,000 AUD to 20,000 AUD.
Trinity College Scholarships is another scholarship starting from the amount of 5,000 AUD and ranging up to 120,000 AUD and is provisioned to offer scholarships to diverse domestic / international students having financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Student bursaries are also open to both domestic and international students possessing a good level of academic standing and are experiencing difficult financial circumstances. The students can benefit from the amount starting from 1,000 AUD and ranging up to 10,000 AUD. Bursaries are generally offered on the basis of the level of financial needs.
