Core documents required to apply for a student VISA;
• Application Form
• Overseas Travel Medical Insurance covering the applicant (at least 30,000 Euros)
• Travel Itinerary
• Proof of Sufficient Funds to cover all expenses during the entire period of study/ Last 6 months original Bank Statement of student or sponsor/ ITRs accompanied by the CPC acknowledgement (verified) for the last 3 years,
• Letter of Acceptance from the educational institution
• Proof of Student Accommodation for the duration of the course
• Proof of Payment of course
Sending a submission to apply for a residence permit in Malta;
Non-EU/EEA students who are studying in an institution of Malta for at least one academic year are required to apply for a Residence Permit within the first 90 days of their arrival in Malta.
To renew or apply for a permit, document should be followed as outlined below;
• Original and copy of every pages Passport
• Proof of date of arrival in Malta (e-ticket or Stamp on the passport)
• A copy of current Maltese residence permit (applicable only for returning students)
• Proof of sufficient financial means; a bank statement (specific three months) or money transfer receipts showing a balance of minimum of 854 Euros per month, properly stamped, dated and signed by the bank manager. Evidence should also show that the bank account/ debit or credit card (whatever is applicable) is accessible in Malta
• Sponsorship letter (if the student has been sponsored) with mandated details
• A copy of rental agreement and rental declaration form/ evidentiary document proving the ownership of leased property
• Proof of Health insurance
• Health Screening Procedure conducted in Malta within 15 days of their arrival
• Endorsement letter confirming enrolment and progression of the course
